CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL ENTRIES

Eligibility:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE.
ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON WILL BE ACCEPTED.

The Contest is open to those that are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Contestants must be a graduating McGill student in Fall 2015 or Spring 2016. Graduating students must have a valid McGill student identification number. The Contest is not open to McGill University employees, nor any person involved in selecting the prize winners or with whom they are domiciled.

How to enter the contest:
Entry forms can be completed online: http://www.alumni.mcgill.ca/soc or in-person by completing the contest form card and submitting it to the contest drop boxes, located at the OMG Contest Table in the McGill Bookstore on the downtown campus between May 31, 2016 and June 2, 2016, as well as June 6, 2016 to June 8, 2016, and Macdonald Campus on June 3, 2016. All fields on the Entry Form must be completed. Entry Forms that contain false, misleading or inappropriate content may be disqualified.

Contest Deadline:
The deadline for entering the contest is 11:59 pm EST on Friday, June 17, 2016. Entries received after that time will not be eligible to participate in the contest.

Draw:
Three (3) potential winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Entry Forms received during the Contest Period on July 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm EST. The odds of being randomly selected to win a Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Prizes (three in total) will be randomly drawn by computer. The draw will take place in Montreal, Province of Quebec. Within three (3) business days following the draw, each of the potential winners will be contacted via telephone or email according to the contact information provided on his/her Entry Form, and notified that he/she is eligible to win a Prize. If one of the potential winners fails to respond to the Prize Notification within five (5) business days thereof, or does not comply with these official Rules and Regulations, the Prize will be automatically forfeited and another potential winner will be selected by random draw. Return of any Prize Notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random draw.

Prizes:
The grand prize is one (1) travel voucher worth $1,500 at House of Travel (travel voucher may be redeemed with House of Travel in-store, over the phone or via email, must be used by July 1, 2017 and is non-transferable) and two (2) runner-up prizes each consisting a $200 Apple Store gift card (must be redeemed in-store).

Date of the draw:
The draw will take place in Montreal, Province of Quebec and three (3) potential winners will be randomly selected on July 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm EST.

Contacting the winners:
Within three (3) business days following the draw, each of the potential winners will be contacted via telephone or email according to the contact information provided on his/her Entry Form, and notified that he/she is eligible to win a Prize.

Prize delivery information:
Prizes will be delivered to the winner by mail (to the mailing address provided when they are notified they have won a prize), or they can claim their prize in person at: Martlet House 1430 Peel Street, Montreal, QC by July 22, 2016.

Skill testing question:
Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, administered by telephone, at a time mutually agreed by the entrant and McGill University.

Privacy Statement & Consent:
In compliance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (R.S.Q. c. A-2.1), any personal information that McGill University collects, including through a contest, will be handled in a confidential manner, by authorized staff, and for the purpose for which it was collected. McGill University will collect and maintain the information provided by Contest entrants for the purpose of managing its relationship with alumni, including communications about University news, invitations, fundraising, and special offers available to alumni and friends of the University. McGill University will not disclose personal information to third parties, except as required by law or a court, or when having a third party perform services, in which case confidentiality clauses will ensure protection of personal information. By completing the entry form for the Contest, an entrant consents to such use of his/her personal information.

Contest Dispute Resolution:
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
