"Converging Worlds: A New Era in Computing" by Microsoft's Craig Mundie

The Office of the Vice-Principal (Research and International Relations) is excited to announce a lecture by Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer of Microsoft Corp., during which he will show off some of Microsoft's latest prototypes and give away two Xbox Kinect packages!

In his talk, Mr. Mundie will discuss what he calls a "fundamental transformation" in how we interact with computers and what we can expect from them. Powered by insights from big data, more natural user interfaces, and a merging of the physical and digital worlds, this emerging era of computing will enable exciting new capabilities.

Don't miss your chance to hear a prominent leader from the business and technology sector explore how we can harness these new technologies to take on some of the world's most complex challenges.
