MAA Japan: BBQ and AGM
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the McGill Alumni Association of Japan (MAAJ) will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, commencing at 6:30 p.m. The AGM will be followed by a BBQ Networking Event at 7:00 PM.

All McGill alumni residing in Japan are invited to attend the AGM. The AGM provides an opportunity to participate in the election and formation of the MAAJ Executive Committee and help shape the future direction of the association.

There are currently vacancies on the MAAJ leadership team, including roles for President, Vice Presidents, and Members-at-Large. Alumni interested in contributing to the McGill community in Japan are encouraged to express their interest by emailing japan.alumni@mcgill.ca. Nominations close on September 28, 2026.

Following the AGM, attendees are invited to continue the evening at the Second Annual MAAJ BBQ Networking Event. This end-of-summer BBQ is an opportunity for the McGill community in Japan to come together, reconnect with fellow alumni, and look ahead to an exciting season of programming and events.
