In celebration of this year's McGill24, the University's annual Day of Giving, the McGill Alumni Association of New York is pleased to invite you to an evening with McGill alumni and friends.
This year, we are pleased to welcome Professor Shoeb Hosain of the Desautels Faculty of Management. As Director of McGill's Master of Management in Analytics (MMA), he will present how the program's experiential learning model gives students real-world data science experience while helping companies build practical Analytics and AI capabilities. Highlighted is the DataSphere Lab, a dynamic hub where students, academics, and industry partners collaborate to accelerate innovation and turn data into actionable insights.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Shoeb Hosain is the Program Director of McGill's Master of Management in Analytics (MMA), bringing extensive experience from the technology and financial services sectors. Before joining McGill, he worked at IBM Watson, where he designed AI solutions for Fortune 500 companies, and previously held roles at TD Securities and Algorithmics in London, specializing in simulation-based predictive analytics for global capital markets and advising major sovereign wealth funds and financial institutions. Shoeb holds an MBA from McGill University and a B.Com from the University of Toronto, and he has also studied at the University of Manchester and the University of Melbourne.
