Saturday, May 24, 2025
12 PM to 2 PM PDT
The McGill Alumni Association of Vancouver is thrilled to invite McGill alumni to reconnect, explore, and unwind during a curated afternoon of art, conversation, and culture on Granville Island, one of Vancouver's most iconic creative hubs.
This exclusive event, hosted by Curated Tastes, offers a memorable art hop through studios and galleries, introducing you to the local artists and gallerists shaping the city's vibrant art scene.
We'll begin at New Leaf studios, an enchanting and comprehensive printmaking studio where you will familiarize yourself with the diverse types of printmaking techniques and materials.
Next, we'll visit an artist studio for you to learn how our local artists create wonderful work despite space restrictions.
On our third stop, discover Wil Aballe, one of Vancouver's most important galleries nurturing contemporary art. To conclude, we'll unwind at Alimentaria Mexicana, a social stop with curated drinks and bites.
Along the way, you'll experience a rich variety of artistic expression, from personal studio practice to cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions, all set against the dynamic creative hub of Granville Island.
Come for the art, stay for the connections.
We look forward to seeing you there!
