ONLINE: COVID and winter: how concerned should we be?

Wednesday, December 14, 2022
12 PM to 1 PM EST

As we brace for yet another winter under a cloud of COVID-19 and other seasonal viruses, what do we need to know to stay safe and sane? How concerned should we be about new variants? Can our hospitals cope with an influx of patients? Will governments need to reintroduce public health restrictions to protect their populations?

Join us at our final Made by McGill alumni webcast of 2022 as we welcome back McGill health experts, Drs. Timothy Evans and Marcel Behr, as they provide an update on the local and global health conditions and answer your questions about what might lie ahead for us in 2023.

With:
Dr. Marcel Behr, Co-Director of the McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (MI4); Director of McGill's Infectious Diseases Division.
Dr. Timothy Evans, Director of McGill's School of Population and Global Health; Executive Director, Canada's COVID-19 Immunity Task Force.

Moderated by Derek Cassoff, Managing Director, Communications, McGill University Advancement.
