The School of Computer Science (SOCS) at McGill is celebrating this year its 50th anniversary and we are inviting our alumni to join the party! The two-day event, held in conjunction with the University's main bicentennial celebrations, will be a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and professors, network with alumni, and have a good time recollecting memories of your time at McGill. It will feature talks by alumni (e.g. AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio), professors, and students, as well as a variety of mingling events. It will further put our students to the fore with an undergraduate research symposium and a programming competition.

L'École d'informatique de McGill célèbre cette année son 50e anniversaire et nous invitons nos anciens à se joindre à la fête! Cet événement de deux jours, qui se déroulera en même temps que les principales célébrations du bicentenaire de l'Université, sera une excellente occasion de renouer avec d'anciens amis et professeurs, d'établir un réseau d'anciens et de passer un bon moment à se remémorer des souvenirs de votre passage à McGill. Des exposés seront présentés par des anciens (par exemple, Yoshua Bengio, pionnier de l'IA), des professeurs et des étudiants, et diverses activités seront organisées. Nos étudiants seront également mis en avant avec un symposium de recherche de premier cycle et un concours de programmation.
