The Empowering Impact of EDI on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Thursday, November 10, 2022
6 PM to 8 PM PST

The Desautels Faculty of Management and M-GEN: Generation McGill - McGill Global Tech and Innovation Group are thrilled to invite the McGill community in the Bay Area to hear from Dr. Yolande Chan, Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management.

Dean Chan will share her vision for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and how it is giving the Desautels Faculty of Management, as well as McGill University, a competitive advantage. She will also highlight the case for EDI in business, and how inclusivity and authenticity can be a supercharging force for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Guests will also hear brief remarks from Martin N. Kon, BCom'93, CFO at YouTube and founding member of M-GEN Western US.

Following the remarks, guests will have the chance to ask the Dean and the McGill team in attendance questions while enjoying Jamaican food and cocktails during the networking session.

This event is moderated and generously hosted by Audrea Golding (BA'92), Partner at Fragomen.

Space is limited.

We look forward to seeing you there!
