ONLINE: Where are we headed next with COVID-19?

Wednesday, December 15, 2021
12 PM to 1 PM EST

As we prepare for the holiday season and brace for another COVID-19 winter, have we finally turned the corner on the global pandemic? Or should the recent emergence of the Omicron variant, along with rising case counts in Europe and elsewhere, give us cause for concern?

Join us for our final alumni webcast of 2021 as we welcome back two of McGill's leading experts on infectious disease and public health, who will provide an update on the state of the pandemic and answer your questions about what might lie ahead in 2022.

Featuring:

Dr. Marcel Behr, Interim Director of the McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (MI4); Director of the McGill Infectious Diseases Division.

Dr. Timothy Evans, Inaugural Director and Associate Dean at McGill's School of Population and Global Health and Executive Director of Canada's COVID-19 Immunity Task Force Secretariat.

Moderated by Derek Cassoff, Managing Director of Communications, University Advancement.
