SPEAKERS
Matt C. Altro, F. Pl., CFP® (Canada), CPF® (US), TEP.  Matt is the President & CEO of MCA Cross Border Advisors Inc. Matt is a Certified Financial Planner in Canada as certified by the Financial Planning Standards Council, a Certified Financial Planner in the US with the US CFP Board, a Quebec Financial Planner with the Institut québecois de planification financière, and obtained the TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is a graduate of McGill University, Faculty of Management, and is completing his Masters of Business Taxation at the University of Minnesota. Matt has specialized and in-depth knowledge with respect to cross border tax and financial planning for Canadians moving to the US, US residents moving to Canada, US citizens living in Canada, or executive employees relocated between the countries.


Pavan Dhillon, is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Dhillon Immigration Law, a local full-service Canadian immigration law firm assisting clients in securing temporary or permanent immigration status in Canada. Through her unique and specialized cross border practice, Pavan focuses on helping individuals and companies with their Canadian immigration questions. She is a native of Vancouver and actively involved with the Canadian community in the Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from UBC and an LL.B/B.C.L. from McGill Law and is a member of the British Columbia and New York Bar.
