The Cundill History Prize at Massey College (Arts)

Hugh Segal, Principal of Massey College, and Antonia Maioni Dean of the Faculty of Arts at McGill University, cordially invite you to share an intimate evening of cocktails and conversation, featuring special guests Jeffrey Simpson and Margaret MacMillan.

This joint McGill University-Massey College event on October 31 will begin with a highly-anticipated announcement: Jeffrey Simpson, renowned author, journalist and juror of the 2018 Cundill History Prize, will present the three finalist titles selected by the jury.

A lively discussion will follow this announcement. Acclaimed historian Margaret MacMillan, author of Paris 1919, The War that Ended Peace, and chair of the 2017 Cundill History Prize jury, will discuss the relevance of history in today's complicated world with renowned political scientist, Professor Antonia Maioni.

The evening will close with a cocktail reception.
