7 PM to 9 PM

Join McGill alumni and friends in reading Michael Pollan’s brilliant "Omnivore’s Dilemma"!

Details

What should we have for dinner? Michael Pollan argues that how we answer this question at the dawn of the 21st century may well determine our very survival as a species. Considering a variety of meals, from fast-food to organic fare, Pollan charts the route that food takes on its way to our plates. Along the way, he helps us gain a better understanding of who we are.

In keeping with those themes, we’ll eat and drink while we talk about Pollan’s critically acclaimed book! Join us at the charming Chapel Pub for an evening of mouth-watering food and conversation about a deliciously thoughtful book.
