Come & Be Inspired Series: Women in AI (McGill Women's Alumnae Association (MWAA))

Monday, February 12, 2018
5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST

Montreal is now a global hotbed of innovation for artificial intelligence (AI), attracting tech giants such as Facebook and Google, as well as dozens of local startups. AI is changing how we work, play, and live, and will continue to shape the future of our economy and society.

Join the McGill Women's Alumnae Association (MWAA) for an interdisciplinary panel discussion featuring heavy-hitters from the Montreal AI scene. These extraordinary movers and shakers will share more about their research and accomplishments, as well as their perspectives on what's to come for the future of AI.

This panel discussion will be moderated by McGill alumna Naomi Goldapple, BCom'92 and Program Director at Element AI. This will be an ideal opportunity to learn more about artificial intelligence and hear from leaders in the field.

Space is limited, so register early to avoid disappointment.

MEET THE PANELISTS:

- Foteini Agrafioti, Head of Borealis AI, an RBC Institute for Research in the field of Artificial Intelligence
- Valérie Bécaert, Director, Research Group at Element AI
- Soodeh Farokhi, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, C2RO Cloud Robotics
