Food for Thought - Demonstration Lab (Faculty of Agr&Env -- General)

Tuesday, September 19, 2017
7 PM to 8:30 PM EST

Our annual Food for Thought begins its 18th season of bringing timely science topics to the community: our neighbours, alumni, students, staff and faculty. Our theme this year is "Nourishing the Body: the inside story on nutrition and health". Our exciting panel of speakers will cover topics ranging from the food we eat to the policies governing it.

New this year, we are hosting one event in the Demonstration Lab for a hands on experience. MSc student Tizziana Cambiotti will speak to "Vegetables - Colour is the Key"! You will learn about different vegetables, their colour and what the colour means in terms of nutrients and how to select vegetables for nutritional health.
