Conservation Bright Spots in Canada - Success Stories Connecting People to Nature

The A. Jean de Grandpré Distinguished Speaker Series is named in honour of McGill's Chancellor Emeritus, M. A. Jean de Grandpré who served as Chancellor from 1984-1991 and was a long-standing member of the Board of Governors.

The presentation will be moderated by Dean Anja Geitmann, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences. Join her as she moderates the discussion between our two speakers Assistant Professor Elena Bennett E.W.R. Steacie Fellow and alumna Nathalie Zinger BScAgr'81, DipEd'83 Executive Coordinator, Conservation Engagement Nature Conservancy of Canada. They will be discussing conservation bright spots in the Canadian landscape presenting the emergence of new thinking, innovative ways of living and different means to connect people and nature that bodes well for the future. Our speakers will present their views based on research and through work with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
