Join the McGill Alumni Association at its annual evening with the renowned Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. This year’s seats are the finest yet, placing us in intimate proximity to the performance as the CPO plays works from the height of 19th century romanticism: Richard Strauss’s Don Quixote, featuring celebrated cellist Philip Hansen, and Johannes Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1, featuring master pianist Horacio Gutiérrez. The program will be directed by the CPO’s music director and resident conductor, Roberto Minczuk.

The Alumni Association will host a private reception prior to the concert offering guests the opportunity to meet Maestro Minczuk (as well as one or two special guests). This will be an excellent occasion to discuss the program, the CPO and music in general. Don’t miss your chance to experience classical music as you never have before!
