Meet "Sara" the Teenage Dinosaur (McGill Society of Montreal)
Are you looking for something to do with your family during spring break? Why not drop by the Redpath Museum and enjoy a guided visit of the Museum dinosaurs, with the newest addition, the teenage ceratopsian dinosaur named Sara.
Excavated near Eastend, in Saskatchewan, by the McGill paleontology team over the last two summers, Sara was brought back to the university in 700 pieces of fossilized bone fragments. Her skull has been reconstructed at the Museum and measures over 4 metres in length. Just imagine how big she would have been if she had grown to adulthood!
Join the educators to learn more about Sara and fold an origami dinosaur to take home.
