The event's special guest speaker is Prof. Antonia Maioni, McGill's incoming Dean of Arts. Professor Maioni is Professor of Political Science and the Institute for Health and Social Policy at McGill University. She is also the President of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, a member of the board of the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement, and member of the Research Council of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research.

At this event, Prof. Maioni will provide an update about some significant changes that will take place in our Faculty of Arts, including the establishment of a new specialist school and new degree programs within the Faculty.
