Volunteer Opportunity - Habitat for Humanity International (Atlanta Alumni Branch)
Saturday, November 8, 2008
Saturday, November 8, 2008
9 AM to 5 PM
Join your fellow McGill grads as we make a difference in our community!
Habitat for Humanity and Atlanta’s Consular Corps have designated November 8 as "Canadian Saturday" in their ongoing efforts to construct affordable housing in our city. Although you can volunteer with the project any Saturday from October to mid-December, this particular day will bring together McGill alumni and Canadian expatriates from the area in the name of a good cause.

Details
The event is coordinated by Brian Oak, Canadian Consul General to Atlanta, whose wife Lydia, BA’72, is a McGill grad. You’re sure to feel right at home, so please come out and lend your support. We need a minimum of 40 volunteers to complete the house. Absolutely no experience is required - just a lot of enthusiasm.
For more information or to sign up, contact Jane Toulson at the Canadian Consulate: 404-532-2005 or jane.toulson@international.gc.ca. She will provide you with the event details and the necessary forms. When you register, please write "Canada/McGill Team" as your volunteer organization.
