The McGill Jazz Orchestra 1 has earned a reputation as one of the finest university jazz ensembles anywhere. Led by jazz composer and trumpeter Joe Sullivan, the MJO performs traditional and contemporary jazz masterworks and takes on challenging new repertoire that embraces Canadian composers and music written by their own students.
