Professor David Fergusson, Scottish theologian and Professor of Divinity at New College, University of Edinburgh, is this year's featured speaker. His research examines Reformed theology from the 16th Century until the present day, with stress on its dual identity as Catholic and Reformedl the doctrines of creation and providence; and the relationship of the church to society, particularly the public role of faith in relation to secularism, atheism and religious pluralism.

Le professeur David Fergusson, théologien écossais et professeur de divinité au New College de l'Université d'Édimbourg, est le conférencier invité cette année. Ses recherches portent sur l'histoire de la théologie réformée, du 16e siècle à nos jours, et insistent sur sa double identité, à la fois catholique et réformée. Il s'intéresse également aux doctrines de la création et de la providence et à la relation qu'entretient l'Église avec la société, en particulier le rôle public de la foi en relation avec le laïcisme, l'athéisme et le pluralisme religieux.
