Study Groups and Lectures: 1948

Tuesday, January 15, 2013
11:45 AM to 1:45 PM

The year 1948 was a decisive one in the Cold War. The Berlin blockade, the Marshall Plan, the start of Titoism, the defeat of the communist parties in France and Italy, the establishment of Israel, the start of Soviet anti-Zionist propaganda, and so on and so on. We will try to understand how these events are still relevant in today's world.

Participants should make a 20-30 minute presentation.
