Study Groups and Lectures: Great Ideas and Books

Wednesday, January 16, 2013
2 PM to 4 PM

Knowledgeable sages tell us that the Western World's civilization is founded on about 100 Great Ideas, ranging from angels to war, and about 100 books. The Eastern World also has many Great Ideas and books, such as the Tao, reincarnation, Chi Book of Changes, etc. We will examine about a dozen of these ideas and books.

Participants will make presentations of about 20 minutes. These will be followed by lively discussions of the pros and cons. We will supply a list of suggested topics for your consideration and presentation.
