Study Groups and Lectures: Landscapes of France

Tuesday, January 15, 2013
11:45 AM to 1:45 PM

The French landscape has provided inspiration to generations of artists. This study group hopes to guide participants on a journey through France as we look into historical and descriptive characteristics of Paris and its surroundings, Normandy, Provence and the sea coasts as revealed in the landscapes of the master artists. Some participants might wish to recount a voyage or focus on the geographical or architectural aspects of a particular region of France.

Each participant will be expected to make a 20- to 30-minute presentation.
